Rocky Run Students on MWEE Field Trip
Rocky Run 7th graders go on MWEE Field Trip to Cub Run Rec Center
Rocky Run's 7th grade science students attended their Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE) field trip last week! Over the course of five days each team of students took a field trip to Cub Run Recreation Center where they attended six different sessions. Each session was designed to teach them how scientists use a variety of methods to test the health of the environment. The students used scientific equipment to test the water quality, to look at macro invertebrates, and to identify the best management practices of waste water management. They were guided through these activities by Cub Run Naturalists and their 7th grade science teachers.
